The territorial impact of environmental policy (also) concerns the definition of protected areas ("Natura 2000" network) for fauna and flora, a reduction in the use of harmful substances (nitrates) in agriculture, regulating waste treatment, limiting atmospheric and noise pollution and promoting renewable energy (wind energy).
