Закон Республики Беларусь "Об охране окружающей среды" (1992) устанавливает правовые основы в области охраны окружающей среды, рационального использования природных ресурсов, обеспечения экологической безопасности, защиты прав граждан на благоприятную для жизни и здоровья окружающую среду. Закон состоит из 17 глав, где определены: права и обязанности граждан в области охраны окружающей среды; экономические механизмы охраны окружающей среды; регулирование использования природных ресурсов; наблюдение и учет в области окружающей среды; экологическая экспертиза, экологические требования к хозяйственной и иной деятельности; зоны чрезвычайной экологической ситуации и экологического бедствия; особо охранаяемые природные объекты и территории; контроль и надзор в области охраны окружающей среды, др.
Environmental Protection Act
english definition:The Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Environment Protection" (1992) is aimed at the ensuring the legal principles of protection of the environment, nature management, protection and restoration of biological variety of natural resources and objects, and directed on provision of constitutional rights of citizens to the environment favorable to human life and health. It consists of 17 sections. Main of them related to the following issues: the state management in the sphere of environment protection; rights and duties of citizens and public associations in the sphere of environment protection; nature management; rationing, metrological maintenance, standardization in the sphere of environment protection and ecological certification; requirements in the sphere of environment protection; ecologically unfavorable territories; the state supervision, etc.
