english definition:

Infrastructure, most generally, is a set of interconnected structural elements that provide the framework supporting an entire structure. In regard to the  city it is a  system of buildings, constructions, networks and  structures non-related directly to manufacturing but important as for the process of production as well as for provision daily life requirements of the population.    The definitions are alike in identifying as infrastructure such assets as roads, railways, airports, ports, power systems, telephones, water and sewerage systems. The broader social capital definitions also take in housing, health and education services, and also some other social institutions that facilitate economic and social interaction.
