Система взаимоувязанных проектных документов градостроительного планирования, определяющая направления и условия градостроительного развития и использования межселенных территорий, населенных пунктов и их частей. Делится на общую, детальную, специальную. Основным видом градостроительной документации на национальном уровне являетсь схема комплексной территориальной организации страны (Национальный  план), на региональном уровне -- схемы комплексной территориальной организации областей (региональный план), на уровне административных районов -- схемы районной планировки и на местном уровне -- генеральные и детальные планы.

Spatial planning documentation is divided into common, detailed and specialized. The main spatial planning document at the national level is National plan, at the regional level -- regional plan, at the level of administrative districts -- schemes of regional planning, at the local level -- master plans and detailed plans.
