kaugküttepiirkond

Kaugküttepiirkond on ala, mille hooneid varustatakse soojusenergiaga eemal paiknevast katlamajast. Kohaliku volikogu otsus kaugküttepiirkonna kehtestamisel määrab ala piirid, ühinemise tingimused ja piirangud, kvaliteedinõuded jms. Uute hoonete puhul on kaugkütte süsteemiga liitumine kaugküttepiirkonnas kohustuslik. Need majapidamised ja juriidilised isikud, kes ei kasuta kaugkütet kaugkütteala kehtestamisel, ei ole kohustatud kaugküttesüsteemiga ühinema.

english definition:

An area where buildings are supplied with heating by distant thermal energy. District heating areas are determined by a comprehensive plan. The decision of a local council on district heating areas enact the boundaries of an area; conditions and regulations of unification; quality requirements, etc. In case of new buildings on densely populated area, unification with district heating system is compulsory for all households and legal persons locating in the district heating area. Those, who do not use district heating system during the determination of district heating area are not obliged to unify with the system.
