Kehtestatud detailplaneeringu või selle osa võib tunnistada kehtetuks, kui kohalik omavalitsus või planeeritava maa-ala kinnistu omanik soovib planeeringu elluviimisest loobuda. Kehtestatud detailplaneeringu või selle osa kehtetuks tunnistamisest ja kehtetuks tunnistamise põhjustest teatab kohalik omavalitsus vastavas ajalehes ühe kuu jooksul planeeringu kehtetuks tunnistamise päevast arvates.

english definition:

An adopted detailed plan or a part thereof may be repealed if the local government or the owner of an immovable located in the planning area wishes to waive the right to implement the plan. A local government shall publish a notice on the repeal of an adopted detailed plan or a part thereof and set out the reasons for the repeal in the relevant newspaper within one month as of the date on which the plan is repealed.
