1) Suomen rakentamismääräyskokoelmassa julkaistu, rakentamista koskeva, lakia ja asetusta tarkempi säännös.

2) Maakuntakaavan kaavamääräystyyppi, jolla voidaan rakentamisrajoitus­alueilla määritellä maakunta­kaavan yleispiirteisen luonteen mukaisia, kaavakarttaa täydentäviä, rakentamisen sallivuutta koskevia rajoituksia ja reunaehtoja.

Building regulation, building provision

english definition:

1) A provision concerning building, more exact than the Act and Decree, published in the National Building Code of Finland.

2) A type of plan provision used in a regional land use plan, which can be used to define restrictions and edge conditions concerning the laissez-faire of building on building restriction areas of the plan. These restrictions and edge conditions should be accordant with the general nature of regional land use plan and supplementing the plan map.
