Valtakunnallisesti arvokas maisema-alue

Maisema-alue, joka sisältyy viranomaisten laatimassa alueiden käytön suunnittelun lähtökohdiksi tarkoitetussa inventoinnissa (viimeisin laadittu 1995) valtakunnallisesti arvokkaiden kohteiden joukkoon.
Nämä alueetovat valtakunnallisia alueidenkäyttö­tavoitteita koskevassa valtioneuvoston päätöksessä (30.11.2000) kulttuuri- ja luonnonperintöä koskevissa erityistavoitteissa tarkoitettuja alueiden käytön suunnittelun lähtökohtia.

english definition:

A landscape area included among the nationally valuable sites in the inventory (latest in 1995) made by the authorities as a starting point for land use planning.
These sites are the starting points for land use planning referred to in the special goals concerning cultural and natural heritage in the national land use objectives (decision by the Council of State 30.11.2000).
