Aprūpes ciemi ir internāta tipa mācībiestāžu, pansionātu, slimnīcu un atpūtas iestāžu kompleksi, ja tie nav pilsētas vai cita ciema sastāvdaļa. Aprūpe ir pakalpojumu kopums tiem sabiedrības locekļiem, kas paši daļēji vai pilnībā nespēj īstenot pamatvajadzības, parasti, bērni, invalīdi, veci cilvēki.

Care villages are boarding type school establishments, old people homes, homes for disabled, building complexes of hospitals and recreation complexes, if they do not compose a part of city, town or other village. Care is the total of services for those society members who are not entirely or partly able to provide for themselves basic needs, usually children, disabled or old people.
