Architectonic accent or emphasis is a detail essential to the architectonic image of a building and to the landscape quality of the urban environment, that usually does not provide the utilizable space and has been located outside the main building-scope and silhouette, t.i. outside the bulk of the building and above the permitted maximum height of the building or above the main cornice.
