Autentiska kultūrvēsturiski nozīmīga pilsētvides teritorija ir teritorija ar augstu specifiska kultūrvēsturiskās vides kopuma saglabātības pakāpi. Autentiska kultūrvēsturiski nozīmīga apbūves fronte ir kultūrvēsturiski vērtīgas ēkas vai ēku fasādes un citu apbūves frontes elementu - ēku galveno dzegu veidoto apbūves augstuma līniju, ielas ainavā redzamo jumtu daļu, skursteņu u.tml. - kopums noteiktā ielas posmā, laukumā vai kvartāla daļā ar nozīmīgu tā saglabātības pakāpi. Autentiskums apzīmē tādu kultūras mantojuma un kultūrvēsturiskās vides kopuma saglabātības pakāpi, kas precīzi liecina par tā kultūrvēsturisko nozīmīgumu.
