Brīvā teritorija ir zemes gabala neapbūvētā platība, no kā atskaitīta autostāvvietu un piebraucamo ceļu platība. To raksturo brīvās teritorijas platības procents no stāvu platības. Brīvās teritorijas rādītāju (B) aprēķina ar šādu formulu: B = (((Z - L1 - L2 - L3) x 100)/ S) % , kur: S - stāvu platība, Z - zemesgabala platība; L1 - apbūves laukums zemesgabalā (neieskaitot ar apstādījumiem labiekārtotu un apzaļumotu pazemes apjomu izmantojamu jumtu); L2 - piebraucamo ceļu laukums zemesgabalā; L3 - autostāvvietu laukums zemesgabalā. Ja zemesgabala daļa atrodas sarkanajās līnijās, tad, aprēķinot brīvās teritorijas rādītāju, to neskaita zemesgabala platībā.

english definition:Vacant territory is not built plot area, except the area intended for the parking and access roads. It is characterized by percentage of the area of vacant territory from the area of storeys. Indicator of vacant territory (B) is calculated by following formula:
B = (((Z - L1 - L2 - L3) x 100)/ S) % , where: Z - area of land plot; L1 - building area in land plot (exclude with plantations established and greened utilizable roof in the dimension of underground); L2 - area of access road in land plot; L3 - area of parking place in land plot; S - area of storeys. If part of land plot is within the red lines, then, calculating the indicator of vacant territory is not included in the area of land plot thereof.
