Dzīvojamais fonds ir māja, dzīvoklis, viena vai vairāku istabu un palīgtelpu kopums (piem., koridori, priekšnami) kapitālā celtnē dzīvošanai visu gadu, neņemot vērā, vai dotajā brīdī tās ir apdzīvotas vai nav apdzīvotas.
