national definition:Ielu stādījumi var būt atjaunojamie un jaunveidojamie ielu stādījumi ir plānotie stādījumi ielu posmos, kur stādījumi vēsturiski ir bijuši un vēlāk izzuduši vai tiek plānoti, lai attīstītu ielu apstādījumu struktūru; ielu stādījumi ar augu konteineriem un vīteņaugiem ir plānotie stādījumi, izmantojot vīteņaugus ar mazām apdobēm un parasto stādījumu vietā izmantojot augu konteinerus, ielu posmos un laukumos gar apbūves fasādēm vietās, kur apgaismojuma vai brīvas pazemes telpas nepietiekamība vai vides piesārņojums neļauj veidot ilgtspējīgus kokaugu stādījumus; rekonstruējamie ielu stādījumi (ļoti sliktā fizioloģiskajā stāvoklī esoši ielu stādījumi, arī ar veciem kokiem, kuriem prognozējama iznīkšana tuvāko 15 gadu laikā); un saglabājamie un kopjamie ielu stādījumi (labā fizioloģiskajā stāvoklī esoši ielu stādījumi, kuriem tuvāko 15 gadu laikā nebūs nepieciešama rekonstrukcija koku novecošanas dēļ).
