Kadastra informācija ir kadastra dati un Valsts zemes dienesta arhīva dokumentu ziņas, ko izmanto Nekustamā īpašuma valsts kadastrs. Kadastra informācijas sistēmas dati par personu, īpašuma sastāvu vai nekustamā īpašuma objektu līdz izmaiņu ierakstīšanai zemesgrāmatā var atšķirties no zemesgrāmatu datiem, ja tie neietekmē zemesgrāmatā nostiprinātās tiesības uz nekustamo īpašumu. Šajā gadījumā nekustamā īpašuma formēšanai, kadastrālai vērtēšanai un nekustamā īpašuma nodokļa aprēķināšanai izmanto Kadastra informācijas sistēmas datus. Aktuālo kadastra informāciju izmanto:
1) jauna nekustamā īpašuma veidošanai, nekustamā īpašuma objekta, zemes vienības daļas noteikšanai, kadastrālajai vērtēšanai;
2) īpašuma tiesību nostiprināšanai zemesgrāmatā;
3) nekustamā īpašuma attīstības un apsaimniekošanas plānošanai;
4) nekustamā īpašuma nodokļa administrēšanai;
5) ekonomiskās attīstības, teritoriju un vides aizsardzības plānošanai, zemes ierīcības darbu veikšanai, valsts statistiskās informācijas sagatavošanai;
6) citu informācijas sistēmu darbības nodrošināšanai.

Cadastre information - the cadastre data and information of the documents of the State Land Service archive, used by the State Cadastre of Immovable Property. The Cadastre information system data regarding a person, structure of property or object of immovable property may differ from the data of the Land Registers up to the entering of changes in the Land Register, if they do not affect the rights to immovable property recorded in the Land Register. In such case the Cadastre information system data shall be used for drawing up of the immovable property, cadastral assessment and calculation of the immovable property data. Updated cadastre information is used:
1) for the formation of a new immovable property, specification of an object of immovable property, a part of the unit of land, cadastral assessment;
2) for registration of the rights of ownership in the Land Register;
3) for planning of the development and management of immovable property;
4) for the administration of immovable property tax;
5) for planning of the economic development, protection of territories and the environment, performance of land survey works, preparation of the State statistics information; and
6) for provision of operation of other information systems.
