Lai aizsargātu vērtīgos attīstības resursus kā nacionālo bagātību, nacionālas nozīmes lauksaimniecības teritoriju izmantošanai un attīstībai ar Ministru kabineta noteikumiem ir noteiktas valsts intereses un prasības. Nacionālas nozīmes lauksaimniecības teritorijas ir lauksaimniecības polderi saskaņā ar meliorācijas kadastra datiem; lauksaimniecības zinātniskās pētniecības, izmēģinājumu uzņēmumu un profesionālās izglītības centru teritorijas saskaņā ar zemesgrāmatas datiem; lauksaimniecībā izmantojama zeme, kas neatkarīgi no īpašumu robežām veido nedalītu zemes nogabalu (nogabalā ieskaitāmi pašvaldību, uzņēmumu un māju ceļi un ūdenstilpes ar platību līdz 1ha), kuru norobežo lauksaimniecībā neizmantojamās zemes, tai skaitā meža zemes, ūdensteces un valsts autoceļi un dzelzceļš, un kas atbilst abiem šiem nosacījumiem: .nogabala zemes kvalitātes novērtējums nav zemāks par 60 ballēm šo noteikumu 3.pielikumā minēto pašvaldību teritorijās vai par 50 ballēm - pārējo pagastu un novadu teritorijās, kā arī pilsētu lauku teritorijās; un nogabala platība nav mazāka par 50 ha, izņemot pilsētās un aizsargjoslās gar galvenajiem valsts autoceļiem, 1.un 2.šķiras valsts autoceļiem un dzelzceļiem.

agricultural territories of national significance

The Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers determine State interests and requirements for the utilisation and development of agricultural territories of national significance in order to protect the valuable development resources as national treasures. Agricultural territories of national significance are the agricultural polders in accordance with the data of the amelioration cadastre; the territories of agricultural scientific research, trial undertakings and vocational education centres in accordance with the data of the Land Register; the land utilised for agriculture that, regardless of the borders of the property, forms an undivided section of land (the section shall include roads of local governments, undertakings and houses and bodies of water with a total area of up to 1 ha), which are demarcated by land non-utilised for agriculture, including forest lands, watercourses, State roads and railway, and which complies with both of the following conditions: the quality assessment of the section of land shall be not less than 60 points in the territories of local governments referred to in Annex 3 to these Regulations or 50 points - in the territories of other parishes and counties, as well as the rural territories of towns; the area of the section is not less than 50 ha, except in towns and protective zones along the State main motorways, 1st and 2nd grade State motorways and railways.
