Swedenrajona pašvaldības padome
national definition:Visi attiecīgā rajona pagastu padomju priekšsēdētāji, novadu domju priekšsēdētāji un rajona pilsētu domju priekšsēdētāji veido rajona padomi. Republikas pilsētas domes priekšsēdētāju var iekļaut rajona padomes sastāvā, ja par to lēmumu ir pieņēmusi republikas pilsētas dome un attiecīgā rajona padome. Republikas pilsētas domes priekšsēdētājam rajona padomē, kad tā lemj par funkciju veikšanu, ir tādas pašas tiesības kā rajona pilsētu domju, novadu domju un pagastu padomju priekšsēdētājiem. Republikas pilsētas domes priekšsēdētāju var iekļaut rajona padomes sastāvā vai izslēgt no tās, ja republikas pilsētas dome un attiecīgā rajona padome lēmumu par to ir pieņēmusi ne vēlāk kā trīs mēnešus pirms budžeta gada sākuma. Attiecīgo vietējo pašvaldību rajona padomē pārstāv domes (padomes) priekšsēdētājs vai — viņa prombūtnes laikā — domes (padomes) priekšsēdētāja vietnieks. Tikai rajona padome cita starpā var apstiprināt rajona sociālās un ekonomiskās attīstības plānu un teritorijas attīstības plānu; kā arī izteikt priekšlikumus un dot atzinumus par attiecīgās administratīvās teritorijas likvidēšanu, tās robežu grozīšanu vai nosaukuma maiņu; un apstiprināt rajona sociālās un ekonomiskās attīstības un vides aizsardzības perspektīvās programmas.Rajona padome var izskatīt jebkuru jautājumu, kas ir rajona pašvaldības pārziņā, turklāt tikai padome var apstiprināt rajona sociālās un ekonomiskās attīstības plānu un teritorijas attīstības plānu; izteikt priekšlikumus un dot atzinumus par attiecīgās administratīvās teritorijas likvidēšanu, tās robežu grozīšanu vai nosaukuma maiņu; apstiprināt rajona sociālās un ekonomiskās attīstības un vides aizsardzības perspektīvās programmas; apstiprināt saistošos noteikumus un noteikt administratīvo atbildību par to pārkāpšanu, kā arī lemt par rajona pašvaldības nekustamā īpašuma atsavināšanu, kā arī par nekustamā īpašuma iegūšanu.

english definition:All parish council chairpersons, county council chairpersons and district city council chairpersons of the relevant district shall comprise the district council.The chairperson of a republic city council may be included in the district council, if the republic city council and the relevant district council have taken a decision with respect to such. The republic city council chairperson shall have the same rights in the district council as chairpersons of district city, county and parish councils in the district when the district council takes decisions regarding the performance of functions. The chairperson of the republic city council may be included in the district council or excluded from it if the republic city council and the relevant district council have taken a decision regarding such not later than three months prior to the start of the budget year. The relevant territorial local government shall be represented on the district council by the city or county council (parish council) chairperson or – during his or her absence – by the city or county council (parish council) deputy chairperson. The district council may examine any matter that is under the supervision of district local government; in addition, only the council may approve the district social and economic development plan and the territorial development plan; express recommendations and provide opinions with respect to the liquidation of the relevant administrative territory, modification of its boundaries, or change of name; approve the district social and economic development and environmental protection long term programmes; approve binding regulations and determine administrative liability for the violation of such and decide on the alienation of immovable property of the district local government, as well as on the acquisition of immovable property.
