Stāvu skaits ēkā ir atkarīgs no zemesgabala apbūves intensitātes un apbūves augstuma ierobežojuma attiecīgās pašvaldības teritorijas plānojumā, kas detalizētāk tiek noteikts detālplānojumā vai plānošanas un arhitektūras uzdevumā, ievērojot šī būvnormatīvos noteiktās prasības. Stāvu skaitā ieskaita visus virszemes stāvus, arī cokola stāvu, mansarda stāvu (izbūvētus bēniņus) un tehnisko stāvu, kā arī jumta stāvu, ja tajā paredzēts izbūvēt noteiktas telpas. Neizbūvētus bēniņus stāvu skaitā neieskaita. Ja ēkas daļām ir atšķirīgs stāvu skaits vai ēka izvietota mainīga reljefa zemesgabalā, stāvu skaitu nosaka atsevišķi katrai ēkas daļai un uzskaitē norāda lielāko stāvu skaitu. number of storeys

The number of storeys in a building depends on the intensity of building upon the land parcel and the building height restriction in the spatial plan of the relevant local government, which is specified in detail in the detailed plan or architectural and planning task, in conformity with the relevant Building Norms. All aboveground storeys shall be included among the number of storeys, including semi-basements, mezzanine floors (residential attics) and technical floors, as well as the roof floor, if certain rooms are intended to be built there. Non-residential attics are not included among the number of storeys. If parts of a building have a differing number of storeys or the building is located on a land parcel with a changing relief, the number of storeys shall be determined for each part of the building separately and the highest number of storeys shall be specified in the record.
