"Gamtinis karkasas karkasas - Vientisas gamtinio ekologinio kompensavimo teritorijų tinklas, užtikrinantis ekologinę kraštovaizdžio pusiausvyrą, gamtinius ryšius tarp saugomų teritorijų, kitų aplinkosaugai svarbių teritorijų ar buveinių, taip pat augalų ir gyvūnų migraciją tarp jų.
Gamtinį karkasą sudaro:
Karkase išskiriamas Europos ekologinis tinklas „Natura 2000", apimantis buveinių ir paukščių apsaugai svarbias teritorijas. Gamtinis karkasas ir į jo sudėtį įeinantys ekologiniai tinklai nustatomi tvirtinant bendrojo arba specialiojo teritorijų planavimo dokumentus. Veikla gamtiniame karkase yra ribojama (įvairiai skirtinguose jo elementuose)."
Natural framework
english definition:
"Natural framework is an integral network of territories of natural ecological compensation, which determines an ecological equilibrium of the landscape, natural relations between protected territories, and other territories or inhabitations essential for the environmental protection, as well as plants and animals' migration among them.
The natural framework comprises:
- geo-ecological ridges;
- stations and axes of geo-systems of inner stabilization;
- migration corridors.
The European ecological network "Natura 2000" has been distinguished in the framework. The said network incorporates the territories of great significance to birds' protection and inhabitations. The natural framework as well as the ecological networks of its composition is established by approving the documents for general or special planning. The activity in the natural framework is limited (differently in each element of the framework)."
