Komunikacijų trasos ir koridoriai - Nuosavybės ar patikėjimo teise savivaldybės valdoma žemės juosta tarp gatvių raudonų linijų, kelių apsaugos arba žaliojoje zonoje, skirta požeminių ir antžeminių inžinerinės infrastruktūros objektų (komunalinių inžinerinių tinklų ir įrenginių) statybai ir eksploatacijai. (pagal Teritorijų planavimo įstatymą). Rezervuoti teritorijas komunikacijų trasų statybai yra vienas iš savivaldybės teritorijos bendrojo plano uždavinių (Pagal bendrųjų planų taisykles)

Communication runs and corridors are strips of the land between red lines of streets, traffic protection or in the green-belt which is administered by the Municipality by the right of ownership or trust and used for building and maintaining the under/above-ground objects (i.e. Public engineering networks and facilities) of engineering infrastructure. (According to the Law on Territorial Planning). To reserve the territories for building communication runs is one of the tasks of the municipality master plans. (According to the Regulations for Master Plans).
