Vandens telkinių apsauginės zonos zonos - Paviršinio vandens telkinio apsaugos zona - teritorija prie paviršinio vandens telkinio, kurioje ūkinė ir kita veikla leidžiama tik naudojant specialiąsias (agronomines, inžinerines ir kitas) priemones, apsaugančias vandens telkinį bei jo aplinką nuo degradacijos. Zonos dalyje prie vandens telkinio yra dar griežtesnio režimo pakrantės apsaugos juosta.

Protected areas of water pools - A protected area of the surface-water pool is a territory alongside the surface-water pool wherein agricultural and other activities are allowable only by means of utilizing (agronomical, engineering and other) special devices protecting the water pool as well as its environment from degradation. There exists a protected near-shore zone of a stricter regime in a territory near the water-pool.
