Fysisk planlegging

Generell betegnelse på planlegging av omgivelser for ordning og utforming av arealfaste innretninger og regulering av arealbruk.Ut over den statlig fysiske planlegging som kan iverksettes gjennom direkte reguleringer, er følgende lovfestede plantyper helt eller delvis rettet mot fysiske omgivelser:
Fylkesplanen (fylkeskommunen), kommuneplanens arealdel, reguleringsplan med dens varianter og bebyggelsesplan (kommunen). I tillegg har planmyndighetene adgang til å benytte ulovfestede plantyper.

Physical planning

 General term for planning of the physical environment for ordering and shaping of land fixed facilities as well as for regulating the use of land.Beyond state physical planning, which can be carried out through direct regulations, the following statutory categories of plans are partially or completely directed towards the physical environment:The county master plan (The County Municipality), the Land use part of the municipal master plan, the Zoning plan with all its variants and the Building development plan (The Municipality) (cf.). In addition the planning authorities use their indigenous invented informal types of plans.
