Jordloven

national definition:

Lov av 5. desember 1995 nr. 23. Med hensyn til planlegging er formålet med loven å sikre disponering av arealressursene slik at man oppnår en tjenelig og variert bruksstruktur i landbruket under hensyn til samfunnsutviklingen i området, herunder hovedvekt på bosetting, tilgang til alternativt arbeid og gode driftsmuligheter i næringen, jf. jordvern.

 Act of December 5, 1995 No. 23. In relation to planning, the purpose of this Act is to safeguard the land resources and to ensure that these resources are used in a way that maintain the structure of holdings under consideration to regional development, settlement structure, access to alternative work and efficient agriculture production, cf. Protection of cultivated and cultivatable land.
