national definition:

Lov av 9. juni 1978 nr. 50 som regulerer fredning og vern kulturminner, se kulturminnevern. Denne loven gjelder også når det etter annen lov, som plan- og bygningsloven, treffes vedtak som påvirker kulturminneressursene.

english definition:

Act of June 9, 1978 no. 50 concerning protection and preservation of cultural heritage, cf. Cultural heritage.
This Act has to be taken into account in any decisions taken pursuant to another Act, like the Planning and Building Act that may affect the cultural heritage.
