Naturvernloven

Lov av 19. juni 1970 nr. 63 som regulerer fredning og vern av natur og naturelementer, se naturvern.Den som planlegger større arbeider, anlegg eller virksomhet som vil medføre vesentlig endring av landskapets karakter eller vesentlig skade på naturmiljøet for øvrig, skal før arbeidene iverksettes, forelegge saken til uttalelse for vedkommende myndighet etter denne loven.

Nature Conservation Act.

Act of June 19, 1970 no. 63 concerning protection and preservation of the natural environment, cf. nature conservation.
Anyone planning major works, construction or activity, which will entail substantial changes to the character of the landscape or otherwise substantial damage to the natural environment, shall, before such work is begun, submit the matter for consideration by the appropriate authority under this Act.
