Lovfestet betegnelse for lovpålagt oppdatering eller endring av eksisterende plan.

Fylkeskommuner og kommuner plikter å vurdere henholdsvis fylkesplanen og kommuneplanen for oppdatering og eventuelt endre disse plantypene minst en gang i løpet av valgperioden. Planmyndighetene i kommunen plikter dessuten å sørge for oppdatering av reguleringsplaner etter behov.

Statutory term for updating or amendment of an existing plan.

County municipalities and municipalities are obliged to undertake review of their County master plans and Municipal master plans respectively, in order to update and change these types of plans at least once during the election period. Besides the planning authority is in charge of updating of Zoning plans due to needs.
