Lovfestet gyldighet av byggetillatelse med hensyn til tid. Byggetillatelsen for et tiltak faller bort hvis arbeidene ikke er igangsatt innen 3 år etter at rammetillatelse er gitt, se rammetillatelse. Det samme gjelder hvis byggearbeidene etter igangsetting innstilles for lengre tid enn 2 år, se byggetillatelse.

Lapse of building permission

english definition:

Statutory validity of Building permission with regard to time. A building project’s permission to be built lapses if the construction work has not started within 3 years after the issuance of the general permission (cf.). The same applies after starting up of the works if the project is suspended for a period exceeding 2 years, cf. Building permission.
