Vegplanlegging

Profesjonsrelatert karakteristikk av planlegging av veger, primært for motoriserte kjøretøyer.Lovfestet betegnelse på planleggingen av riks- og fylkesveger. Ansvaret for denne planleggingen har Statens vegvesen som kan utarbeide og fremme utkast til oversiktsplaner, herunder vegutredninger, i medhold av plan- og bygningslovens bestemmelser om fylkesplaner (fylkesdelplaner), kommuneplaner (arealdelen til kommuneplanen), reguleringsplaner og bebyggelsesplaner. Beslutning om å legge disse plantypene ut til offentlig ettersyn kan treffes av Statens vegvesen. Kommunenes planmyndighet skal holdes orientert om planarbeidet. Road planning

Professional characterization of roads planning, primarily for motorized vehicles.Statutory term for planning of roads under state and county ownership. The Public Road Administration is in charge of the planning for state and county roads, and may prepare and submit plan proposals, including road surveys, in accordance with the Planning and Building Act. It applies for all statutory categories of plans; the County master plan (the partial variant), the Municipal master plan (the land use part of it), the Zoning plan and the Building development plan (cf.). The decision to present such plans for public inspection may be made by the Public Road Administration. The municipal planning authority shall be kept informed of the planning work. The Ministry may lay down more detailed provisions concerning road planning through subordinate legislation.The municipalities are in chagre of planning for municipal roads.
