For the county administrative boards, the nature conservation plan is a long-term action programme for the protection and management of areas that are valuable from a nature conservation point of view. The document, which is not regulated in law, consists of an aggregate account of nature conservation interests. Often it contains both a text part and a map part. The municipal documents deal with nature conservation issues from the municipal perspective.
