Överklagande

Överklagande är en sammanfattande benämning på det förfarande varigenom en part eller annan berörd kan få en dom eller ett beslut omprövat i högre instans. Överklagandet skall ske inom en viss tidsfrist, vanligtvis tre veckor.
I plan- och byggsammanhang finns möjligheter att överklaga beslut om planer, såsom detaljplaner, områdesbestämmelser och fastighetsplaner, samt beslut om bygglov, rivningslov och marklov. Översiktsplan kan endast överklagas beträffande handläggningen.

Appeal is the collective term for the procedure through which an involved or concerned party can have a sentence or a decision reviewed in a higher instance. An appeal must be lodged within a set time, normally within three weeks.
In the context of planning and building, possibilities exist to appeal on decisions on plans such as detailed development plans, area regulations and property regulation plans, as well as on decisions on building permits, demolition permits and site improvement permits. A comprehensive plan can only be appealed on procedural grounds.
