Plankarta med planbestämmelser är en obligatorisk handling vid upprättande av detaljplan och fastighetsplan. Plankartan och planbestämmelserna är bindande. Några vanligt förekommande planbestämmelser i detaljplaner är de ändamål marken får användas till såsom gata, bostäder, grönområde m m, samt exploateringstal, hustyper, hushöjder och antal våningar på husen.

english definition:

Plan regulations are regulations applicable for a plan. Usually they are presented on the same document as the map of the plan. A map of the plan together with plan regulations are compulsory documents when establishing a detailed development plan or property regulation plan. The map of the plan and the plan regulations are legally binding. Some of the most common plan regulations in detailed development plans include the uses of the land, such as street, dwellings, green area, etc., and development agreements, building types, building heights and the number of floors in the buildings.
