Planföreläggande

Ett planföreläggande är ett exceptionellt maktmedel som regeringen kan använda då den vill att en kommun skall anta, ändra eller upphäva en plan. Det kan vara fråga om att planen skall tillgodose ett riksintresse. Planföreläggande kan också användas vid mellankommunala plankonflikter. Om kommunen inte åtlyder föreläggandet inom en viss tid kan regeringen, på kommunens bekostnad, låta upprätta behövliga handlingar. Regeringen har inte beslutat om planföreläggande sedan plan- och bygglagen trädde ikraft 1987.

english definition:

A planning injunction is an extraordinary instrument of power that the government can use when it wants a municipality to adopt, change or annul a plan. The plan may need to take into account an area of national interest. A planning injunction can also be used in the case of intermunicipal planning conflicts. If the municipality does not obey the injunction, the government can, at the municipality's expense, draw up required documents. The government has not made any decisions on planning injunctions since the Planning and Building Act entered into force in 1987.
