Begreppet tätbebyggelse förekommer både i expropriationslagen och i förköpslagen. En kommun har i vissa fall rätt att expropriera mark samt förköpsrätt vid försäljning av fast egendom som med hänsyn till den framtida utvecklingen krävs för tätbebyggelse eller därmed sammanhängande anläggning.
I tidigare byggnadslagstiftning definierades tätbebyggelse som bebyggelse vilken krävde särskilda anordningar för tillgodoseende av gemensamma behov. Begreppet finns inte med i plan- och bygglagen från 1987.
Built-up area
english definition:
The term 'built-up area' can be found in the Expropriation Act and in the Pre-emption Act. A municipality has in certain cases the right to expropriate land and it has pre-emptive rights when real property is sold if that real property is required for the future development of built-up areas or amenities adjoining these areas.
Earlier building legislation defined built-up areas as buildings that demand special installations to fulfil common needs. This term is not included in the Planning and Building Act of 1987.
